Morris & Berger has spent more than twenty years refining its executive search process. By combining our extensive reach into the nonprofit sector with a detailed and comprehensive search process, we are able to generate tremendously successful results.
What differentiates Morris & Berger
from other executive search consultants?
Our approach to the search process is extremely proactive. We treat every search as unique and strive to fulfill the needs of both clients and candidates with integrity, fairness and objectivity.
We are available and accountable
throughout the entire process.
Unlike many search consultants, we remain diligently involved in the search process until the position is successfully filled. Our fee schedule is based upon milestones, the final milestone occurring when the search has been concluded.
Our commitment to fairness and integrity
is reflected in the way we are compensated.
Since most of our clients ask us to negotiate a compensation package with the successful candidate, we feel it would be a conflict of interest for our compensation to be linked to the candidate's. Instead, our proposals include a flat professional fee that is not based on a percentage of the candidate's salary.
We back-up our results.
If the executive we have helped place in a position resigns or is terminated with cause within the first year, it is our policy to conduct a new search without charging a professional fee (based upon client conditions).
We treat all candidates with courtesy and respect.
We make sure that every candidate is made aware of their changing status in the search process as quickly as possible. For instance, within 24 hours of confirmation of candidate status with our clients, we send letters to those candidates who are no longer being considered. All candidates who continue further in the process receive personal phone calls when they are no longer being considered for the position.
