Alzheimer's Los Angeles Announces Joey Milne as President & CEO

Alzheimer’s Los Angeles is excited to announce the appointment of Joey Milne as President & CEO, effective February 2, 2026. Joey has served as Interim CEO since October 31, 2025, and during this time has demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing our mission to serve individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Board Co-Chairs Susan Lord and Jeffrey Glassman agree that Joey’s vision and strategic expertise position us perfectly for our next chapter of growth. And under her leadership, we’re poised to expand our reach and deepen our impact across Los Angeles County.

Joey brings 18 years of nonprofit leadership experience, having previously served as Executive Director/CEO of INMED Partnerships for Children, Thrive Scholars, and Cancer Support Community South Bay. Her proven track record in scaling organizations, building sustainable funding models, and cultivating major donor relationships will be instrumental as we work to serve more families.

A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with a Master of Public Health from UCLA, Joey combines expertise in nonprofit management with a strong foundation in public health practice.

“This is an exciting time for Alzheimer’s Los Angeles,” said Joey. “I’m honored to lead an organization with such dedicated staff, volunteers, and community partners. Together, we’ll continue to provide critical support services while expanding access to even more families who need us.”

Join us in welcoming Joey to this permanent role as we embark on this promising new phase of service and impact.
