A native of San Diego, Kea Spurrier has over 25 years of fundraising experience with a proven track record in raising major and principal gifts in her community. With a strong passion for Jewish Family Service of San Diego’s mission, Kea is delighted to join their team as the Director of Development. Prior to joining JFS, Kea was the Campaign Director of San Diego Zoo Global where she led the Roaring Forward comprehensive campaign to raise a total of $532 million. Before joining the San Diego Zoo, Kea worked for her alma mater as the Manager of Constituent Programs and Affiliate Groups at the University of California, San Diego Alumni Association. Kea holds a master’s degree in Leadership and Nonprofit Management and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from UCSD.
